What we store, stated plainly.
INKLY runs always-on agents on your content, which means your content lives on our servers. Pretending otherwise would be easier to market and untrue, so here is the actual list — and a one-click way to delete all of it.
What we store
Drafts and posts
Post text, topic, image prompt and image URL are stored in our database (ContentItem). The agents cannot read your library, learn your voice, or schedule anything without this.
Your library
Pasted posts, voice notes and meeting notes you add are stored (LibraryItem). This is the material the content agent learns your voice from.
Schedule and activity
Planned slots, publish results, approvals and agent run history, so the calendar survives a browser change and you can audit what the agents did.
Account and billing state
Plan, subscription status, renewal date and usage counters. Payment instruments are never stored — Razorpay holds those.
LinkedIn connection
If you connect LinkedIn, an access token is held in a secure httpOnly cookie on your device, plus your LinkedIn id and display name on our side to attribute posts.
Data is held in a managed Postgres database (Neon) and served from Vercel. Prompts are sent to third-party AI providers to generate your output; we do not send them your library wholesale, only what a given request needs.
What we never do
- Train AI models on your content
- Sell or share your drafts, library, or profile with advertisers
- Publish a shared or public feed of user posts
- Publish anything to LinkedIn without your approval
- Store card, UPI, or bank details on INKLY servers
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — and equivalent rules elsewhere — you can ask us to show you your data, correct it, or erase it. You do not need to email anyone to erase it:
- Delete everything — the privacy panel in the studio deletes your workspace, drafts, library, schedule and account record, and cancels any active subscription. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Disconnect LinkedIn — removes the token from your device at any time, from the studio header.
- Access or correction — ask via the contact page.
Retention
We keep your content while your account exists, because the agents need it to work. Delete the account and it is removed from the database immediately. Records we are legally required to keep — chiefly payment and tax records held by Razorpay — are retained for the period the law requires.
Cookies
We set only what the product needs to function: a signed, httpOnly account cookie holding your plan and usage counters, and — if you connect it — a LinkedIn token. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why there is no consent banner to click through.
